Accessibility at Novida

Novida exists for people with disability, so accessibility is a baseline, not a feature. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we’ve done

Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator and skip-to-content link; screen-reader support through semantic landmarks, labelled fields and ARIA states; responsive, zoom-friendly layouts; support for your reduced-motion preference; plain-language content; and accessible HTML documents rather than scanned PDFs.

Known limitations

Interactive maps have limited screen-reader support — all map information is also available in the accompanying lists — and some third-party images may have generic descriptions. We are working through these.
