How Novida researches, sources, reviews and keeps its NDIS guides, tools and price figures accurate and current — and who is accountable for them.
Where our information comes from
We build our guides, tools and price figures from primary, authoritative sources and link to them so you can verify: the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, ndis.gov.au, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and reputable Australian disability and health bodies.
Estimates vs official figures
Calculator and price-guide figures are indicative estimates based on the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements — not official NDIA determinations. Always confirm funding decisions with your planner, plan manager or the NDIS. Every guide is general information only, not personal, medical, legal or financial advice.
Keeping it current
NDIS pricing and rules change around 1 July each year. Where a page states a rate, we label the pricing year it reflects and update it when the official figures change.
How our guides are made, and who’s accountable
Our guides and tools are researched against official sources and drafted with the help of AI tools, then reviewed, edited and kept current by Novida’s founder and editor, Prakash Bartaula, whose background is in the disability and care sector. We are open about using AI to research faster, but a real, named person checks facts against primary NDIS sources and stays responsible for accuracy — we do not publish under an anonymous team.
