What is the Hearing Services Program?
It is a national Australian program that provides hearing assessments and devices such as hearing aids to eligible people. Because it exists, it is often the right funder for hearing aids rather than the NDIS. Its eligibility rules are separate and can change, so check your current status directly.
Who funds cochlear implants?
Cochlear implants involve surgery and processors, and funding can involve health services and other systems rather than only the NDIS. The right funder depends on your circumstances. An audiologist and your treating team can help you understand which system covers which part.
How do I know which system to apply to?

Can the NDIS fund supports to use hearing technology?
