ILO Stage 2 is the ongoing supports phase of Individualised Living Options. After Stage 1 designs your living arrangement, Stage 2 funds it — blending paid support with informal help from family, friends, housemates and community, tailored to how you want to live.
What's the difference between ILO Stage 1 and Stage 2?
Stage 1 (Exploration and Design) is the planning phase, where you explore options and design a support model written up as a Service Proposal. Stage 2 (Ongoing Supports) is the funding that delivers that model day to day, once the design is agreed.
What are primary and supplementary supports in ILO?
Primary supports are the core regular help that keeps daily life working — personal care, cooking, cleaning, managing your home. Supplementary supports are flexible extras you use as needed, like occasional drop-in help or backup when your usual informal supports aren't available.
Does ILO Stage 2 pay my rent?
No. ILO funds the support arrangement, not housing. You still arrange somewhere to live — your own place, a rental or a shared home — and pay rent and living costs yourself. ILO Stage 2 resources the paid support around that home.
