Frequently asked questions
What is the NDIS price guide for 2026-27?
It is the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits document that applies from 1 July 2026. It sets the maximum a provider can charge for each support, plus rules for travel, cancellations and loadings. It is updated every year through the Annual Pricing Review, so always work from the current…
Are NDIS price limits fixed rates?
No. They are maximums, not fixed prices. A provider can charge less, and you can negotiate — particularly if you self-manage or use a plan manager. Two providers at the same hourly rate can still cost very different amounts once their travel and cancellation policies are counted.
Why did NDIS prices change this year?

The Agency also flagged a deeper review of the support worker…
Does my plan budget go up when prices rise?
Not automatically. Your total plan funding does not move with the price guide, so when limits rise, the same budget may buy fewer hours. Review your usage after each annual update, and raise any shortfall at your next plan review with evidence of your support needs.
