Can I get NDIS and CHSP together?
No — they serve different groups and you can't be funded twice for the same support. The NDIS is for under-65s with disability; CHSP is entry-level aged care for people 65 and over.
Is CHSP part of aged care?
Yes. CHSP is an entry-level aged care program accessed through My Aged Care, and it's planned to move into the Support at Home program no earlier than 1 July 2027.
I'm 66 with a disability — NDIS or CHSP?
If you didn't join the NDIS before 65, aged care is your pathway — CHSP for entry-level help, or a Support at Home package for more. Contact My Aged Care to be assessed.
