At what age do supports move out of the Early Childhood Approach?
The Early Childhood Approach is for children younger than 9. As your child nears that age, supports move into the general NDIS pathway, with your LAC helping connect your family to community and mainstream supports.
Should I ask for a plan reassessment before school starts?
Often yes, if your child's needs are changing. A plan runs for a set period and is then reassessed, and you can request one sooner if needs have shifted significantly. Gather evidence early — see reviewing a child's NDIS plan.
Will my child's therapy change when they start school?
