How does a reference check work?

When a candidate adds a referee to a role on their profile, you can click “Request reference check” on their application. Novida emails the referee a short request, and their reply comes straight back to your inbox.

Is the referee’s email required?

No. Candidates can add a referee’s name and position with email and phone both optional. You can only email a referee when an email has been provided.
